Are they the same as wedding planners? Will they understand all of our traditions? Does anyone know about hiring a Bar Mitzvah Planner? I think, but I'm not sure, that most wedding planners are young girls between 26 and 36 years old - maybe some are older. What can I expect them to know about our bar mitzvah traditions?
I'm sure there are many aspects of a bar mitzvah that mirror a wedding, so let's consider the differences. What will I need to be aware of and what can I relax and let the Bar Mitzvah Planner take care of? The cocktail hour food, the Bar Mitzvah catering, the timing - what about the candle lighting?
