Bar Mitzvah Kid\'s tables.
Some families set up one long table and put the celebrant in the center, and some families set up a Kid\'s Lounge. Kid Lounge works well, because most 12 and 13 year olds want to eat and run anyway. They can pull up chairs - no seating chart necessary - eat their meal, and run.
The other option is to create a group of kid\'s tables and clump them all together. Keep in mind that they should be somewhere close to the celebrant. Also, it might be a good idea to place this kid\'s area close to the DJ\'s speakers. Kids will not mind the loud music as much as adults. Adults are usually the ones complaining about the noise level.
